Each condo provides guests with a beautiful panoramic 180 degree view of the lake facing east from a vantage point of 150 feet directly above the water. There are trees on all sides with the exception of the lake viewing area. While we welcome families, there is a concern of having small children at Cliff Dwellings because of steep cliff. The only thing separating a person from the edge of the cliff is a decorative wrought iron fence. The natural curiosity of children sometimes leads them to explore in areas that could dangerous to their well being and it is most essential children be under adult supervision at all times.
Cliff Dwellings are fully equipped condominiums on Grand Lake available for short term or weekend rental. Located on Monkey Island in a gated community known as Port Duncan Resort, there is easy access to shopping, entertainment and other recreational activities in the area. A few minutes drive, south on # 125 will take you to the Shangri-La Golf Course, The Landing Marina and on the lake restaurant/shipstore, dining and evening entertainment at Shebangs, Big Shots, and Den of Uniquity for unique wearing apparel. A few minutes drive north on # 125 to # 85A west to Bernice will take you to the Bernice State Park for great access to the lake where you can fish, swim, launch your boat, picnic, hike the nature trail or just enjoy the water. Rest rooms with hot water for showers are readily available and it’s all free! Stop at Littlefield’s Convenience Store (Phillip 66 station) for groceries, snacks and/or a great selection of meats for grilling from the butcher shop. Grove has convenient shopping for sporting equipment, antiquing, exploring the talents of local artists and enjoying the native cuisine is a mere 15 minutes to the east
